Defined by a strong leadership and operations management background, Kim is extremely focused and driven to achieve success. He completed his MBA from the Haskayne School of Business, has a CPP (Certified Professional Purchaser designation) and Business Administration Diploma from Lethbridge College.
Kim spent twenty years working with the Gienow Group of Companies, starting as a junior buyer at Gienow Windows and Doors and in his time there took on many roles, including Purchasing Supervisor, Sales Administration Manager, Production Control Manager, Manufacturing Operations Manager, Service Manager, Logistics Manager and ultimately President of Architectural Windows and Doors Inc. He was a significant contributor in nearly all operational areas, leading change initiatives such as ERP, Business Process, and Management throughout the company.
After the Gienow Group, Kim worked with the Highfield Investment Group where he led the construction management and financing of Hotel Arts and the acquisition of Kensington Riverside Inn followed by his role as the Director, Park and Facility Services with the Calgary Stampede and Exhibition and several private consulting jobs.
